How You’ll Make an Impact
- Use your expertise to conduct fatigue analysis, low-cycle fatigue (LCF) assessments, and thermal stress evaluations, driving advancements in technology.
- Employ advanced tools such as Franc 3D, ABAQUS, Ansys, and our in-house resources to analyze crack propagation, ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address mechanical integrity challenges and improve system reliability.
- Provide technical support to the workshop, offering valuable insights and solutions that enhance our collective success.
What You Bring
- Some years of experience in fatigue, Low-Cycle Fatigue, thermal stress, and crack propagation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to teamwork and delivering results.
- Strong interest and basic knowledge in turbomachinery. Previous experience in this field is a plus, but not required—we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Finspång 2-3 days a week, and as required.
Please note that for this role, EU citizenship or a permanent residence permit in Sweden is required.
About the Team
We are a diverse R&D group consisting of highly skilled engineers who work within the areas of aeromechanics, aerodynamics, mechanical integrity, structural dynamics, and rotor dynamics. With close to 20 dedicated individuals, we are committed to advancing compressor and heat pump technology in a collaborative environment.
Our department in Finspång is known for its expertise and specialists, and we strive to maintain this by continuously challenging ourselves and each other while supporting one another’s growth.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
